Tween Brands, which operates Justice Just for Girls stores, has more than twodecades of experience selling clothing and accessories to young girls. With atimely and much planned release the company began adding boys products, brandedas Brothers, in 2010. The brand was released first as an online-only test andthen earlier last year onto store shelves.
Thechain with 920 stores, and counting, is now owned by Suffern, NY based AscenaRetail Group. Tween Brands recently announced its plans to expand its in-store testing of boys’ apparel. The brands website currentlylists 10 locations with the trade name and 9 more locations as coming soon. Thecompany said it will add Brothers at 20 more stores before the holiday season.
