Tarrant County 4-H Members Receive Award at National 4-H Film Fest -

The National 4-H FilmFest in Branson, MO took place August 5-8th.  Tarrant County participants, Cameron Milton and Gage Milton from Countryside 4-H received the "Buzz Award" for their short narrative film entitled, "The Herb of Nithinian". The "Buzz Award" is a special recognition award given to the film spoken highly of during the FilmFest.  The FilmFest included guest presenters from the industry such as Director, Sandy Tung; Casting Director, Joni Tackette; Bill & Gail Lennon, Musicians; Farrel Levy, Film Editor; Cinematorgraphy, Mike Haviland (outdoor photographer), Russell Weston (Specialist in Remote Locations) and David Wilson spoke about creating a flim festival.  The Festival attendees enjoyed a tour of the largest IMAX theater in the midwest and being guests at the Kirby VanBurch Magic Show.
