We are now less than three weeks away from a premier leadership experience, Leadership LIVE!, set to take place on December 10th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.  Leadership LIVE! is a virtual leadership experience that will be streamed live on the web for any 4-H member, volunteer, specialist, or anyone to participate in. 4-H membership is not required to tune in and hear about how you can enhance your leadership skills as others share their stories of leadership.

Participants can register to win prizes by completing the online registration form available at: http://texas4-h.tamu.edu/leadershiplive.  While encouraged, this is not required to participate in the virtual event.
Here are some highlights from some of our speakers!·         Dr. Chris Boleman, Texas 4-H and Youth Development Program Director is without a doubt, passionate about leadership. From this session of Leadership Live!, Dr. Boleman hopes to teach everyone to stop and get to know each other. He recognizes that we all have similarities, differences, and goals. If we can see this, he believes, we can all move forward as ONE and you will hear all about it in this motivating session! ·         Lisa Whittlesey, Extension Program Specialist for the International Junior Master Gardener Program believes the key to leadership is to use your gifts and talents to serve others. In her Leadership Live! Session, Whittlesey will teach you how to “Learn locally and expand globally”. “I chose this topic because through technology and social media 4-H’ers and adult leaders are having the opportunity to share experiences about what they do with their programs across the globe,” she said.·         Preston Sturdivant started his 4-H career in 5th grade as a way to be with his friends. “However, I quickly found a love of my own and continued to get involved in new projects,” Sturdivant said. Sturdivant attributes a great deal of his success to 4-H and believes all of these projects and activities, taught him valuable lessons that he continues to retrieve even to this day as a student at Texas A&M University.
