We wanted to share some information with you regarding an educational based contest that the Horse Show hosts called the Horse Skillathon. It is designed like the skillathons seen in the Livestock Show. There are three components and divisions. The divisions are broken down into Junior (8-10), Intermediate (11-13) and Senior (14-19) groups. The first component is a written exam, followed by hands on stations and finally the senior contestants will participate in a public speaking section. We have provided the link to our website below as well as the direct link to the study materials. We would like to encourage 4h members to participate and appreciate any help in dispersing this information to agents and members.
